Fitter - Leeds Crown Point

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Fitter to join our team for a room installation project. This is a hands-on role involving a variety of interior fit-out and installation works, and we are looking for someone who can work to a high standard, follow plans and instructions, and take pride in the quality of their work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for completing a range of installation and finishing works, including dry lining, suspended ceilings, door hanging and the installation of kitchen units and furniture. You must be confident working independently as well as working alongside other trades on site.

This position involves night shifts of approximately 10 hours per shift, so flexibility, reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.

Duties will include:

  • Full room installation and fit-out works
  • Dry lining
  • Installing suspended ceilings
  • Hanging doors
  • Installing skirting boards and architraves
  • Fitting kitchen cupboards and units
  • Installing desks and other fitted furniture
  • Carrying out general fitting and finishing works
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid CSCS Card
  • Previous experience in fitting, installation or interior fit-out work
  • Experience with the duties listed above
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, hardworking and punctual
  • Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
  • Able to follow site health and safety procedures
  • Must be available to work night shifts of approximately 10 hours
